Frequently asked

Common questions, clearly answered.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours isn't here, send us a message above.

How does Public Pulse work?

Verified Canadians answer the same neutrally-framed civic question each week. Responses are anonymised and aggregated into sentiment trends you can follow over time, by region, and by topic.

How are topics selected?

Topics surface from real local and national issues — housing, transit, healthcare, development — not manufactured headlines. Community-submitted issues go through editorial review for clarity, relevance, and neutral framing before publication.

Is participation anonymous?

Yes. Your name, email, and profile are never publicly displayed. Only aggregated, anonymised results are ever published, and individual responses can't be traced back to individual people.

Can organizations partner with Public Pulse?

Yes — civic organizations, academic researchers, and community groups are welcome to reach out. We don't accept political funding or sponsorship that would influence methodology. Get in touch at info@publicpulse.live.

How are community issues reviewed?

Every community submission goes through an editorial review for accuracy, relevance, and neutral framing before being published. We don't have public comment threads to brigade or derail — the platform is structured input only.
